I was enjoying the view
Little did I realise it was curfew
A mob was here to protest
And their will power was soon put to test
The water gun was there in action
It was funny to see people’s reaction
As the mob drew closer, police ordered to charge
Considering their injuries, only few will get their discharge
The leaders condemned on facebook and twitter
And vowed they ain’t any quitter
Media reported all this in their glory
It was hard to not feel sorry
Whatever the month, there will always be a March
While people struggle to get their starch
Soon there was a protest to protest the protest
The helpless common man can only detest
Relevance has given way to publicity
What is to happen of this city?
Everyone resorting to the blame game
One can only say shame pretty shame
Even gods have vacated this place
Now who will save our face
Some things to just ponder over
Better act before it’s all over
For the moment let me enjoy this view
And imagine our future’s preview
